Newsletter written on June 14th. Wow after seven weeks of play we have no undefeated teams, four teams with only one loss and no team without a win. The competition is tough, and any team could win it all this year with fourteen more weeks to go. We did not get rained out so far but shade canopies have been destroyed. This is what we call normalcy in LS Bocce - twenty three teams and fun galore.

I big thank you to the volunteers that came out to help install canopies. It looks great and we couldn't do it without our great support network. We plan on refinishing the picnic tables the first week of October.

Making friends through Bocce is a big part of playing. The Bocce Club is open to all Lake Summerset adult residents and lot owners. We have the courts reserved on Thursdays, May through September, and play regularly scheduled games starting at 10 A.M. each week. Come join us at the bocce courts this summer.
